Within the NPU (Nautilus Program for UAV) the paper on "Design Characteristics of a Non Conventional Thrust-Vectored Airship" was presented by Nautilus and the Politecnico di Torino. This work includes a first description of the Nautilus airship which adopts an innovative shape and flight control system, the initial results of the aerodynamics analysis, and the hypothesis on flight handling through electric motors.
