"Centenaria" - Turin, Italy 6 - 12 October
2003
Nautilus gives its sponsorship to "Centenaria",
an event organised by DIASP (Aviation and Space Department
of the Politecnico di Torino) in Turin to celebrate the three
hundred anniversaries which take place in 2003: that of the
first flight by the Wright brothers, the hundred anniversary
of Carlo Ferrari birth as well as that of Giuseppe Gabrielli.
Nautilus took part in the production of a movie integrated
by other sponsors such as Alenia, Avio, Microtecnica and the
Italian Air Force. For this a swivelling cable-controlled TV
camera installed onto an aerostat (Nautilus-Item system) broadcasted
in real-time the pictures of the Politecnico inner court and
of the surrounding panorama on the screen in the Politecnico
great Hall. Nautilus and the Politecnico also exhibited a poster
concerning the new generation of radio-commanded airship including
the initial speculations about on-board energy generation.
