In the 4 December session during the panel on system technologies for unmanned vehicles the company illustrated the work conducted jointly by the Politecnico di Torino and Nautilus "A new concept of a Light-than-air platform for monitoring" within the NPU. Following the general presentation of the project the reason for the choice of such a solution has been explained, as well as economical advantages of the innovative Nautilus Lighter Than Air (LTA) versus fixed and rotary wing solutions. The advantages of the patented solution versus the conventional one, both under the controllability as adverse weather condition sensibility, has also been discussed.
