RC ariship:

Assigned area of 15 x 8 m for preparation and flight testing of models NRC-D and NRC-E; assigned area of 20 x 11 m for models NRC-F
Assigned area for the van used for airship and equipment transport and for the camper hosting the crew (for operations carried out in the following days)
The availability of power connection is an optional as the crew is equipped with an autonomous power station

Standard and Self-stabilized aerostat:

Circle assigned area of diameter dimension defined in function of the aerostat type and the services type (usually between 10 and 30 meters)
Assigned area for the van used for airship and equipment transport and for the camper hosting the crew (for operations carried out in the following days)
The availability of power connection is an optional as the crew is equipped with an autonomous power station

Safety

RC airship

The pilot responsible for the crew is responsible for safety matters and he acts following: "GUIDELINES FOR THE REGULATION OF LIGHT UAV SYSTEMS" of JAA
During airship operations the pilot is always supported by a ground crew team made of 1 to 3 ground technicians
If necessary the airship is tethered by a safety cable shorter than distance from any people
All crew members are in constant radio link, on authorized frequencies
Radio-commands are type-certified and use authorised frequencies
Nautilus has a regular civil responsibility insurance covering any possible damage caused to belongings and/or people
Engines and ducted propellers are still when no commando are send
If the radio-link is interrupted NRC - D and NRC - E airship are equipped with a special safety system (shut-off valve) which can unload the filling gas (helium inert gas) and allow the slow descent of the airship in less than 20 minutes, with an impact of about 4 grams per square decimetre.

Services can be provided with system developed by Nautilus SPA and owned by the costumer or with systems that Nautilus Spa owned. Some services can be:

"turnkey" services including technical crew by Nautilus Spa
joint session with technical crew by Nautilus Spa and costumer

Airship and aerostat availability for "turnkey" services and the time needed for developing and personalizing them, it's taken into account and communicated to the costumer on specific offer after a joint evaluation.

Identifying the payload/s, it's taken into account if employ commercial control system or personalized. The acting, moving, video transmission, and radio-control system once have been developed, they can be tested with the costumer.

To carry out the services, Nautilus Spa has designed and assembled systems for film and digital photo-camera, Tv camera, system monitoring for the noise impact and systems for IR multispectral / iperspectral are going to be produce.

For example new aerial photo service which employs a Digital Camera Hasselblad (8x zoom with 50-80-150 mm focal length), two degree of freedom. The camera, remotely activated, is linked to a ground station equipped with a screen for observing the preview image.
